It’s that time of year again, Waverly’s annual Christmas on Main is from 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday evening . Live window displays in the storefronts on Bremer Avenue will feature businesses and organizations from all over town. The Frost Fest event includes free horse drawn trolley rides through town located in Fareway’s parking lot. Nestle will be hosting hot spots serving free hot chocolate, the Jaycees will be handing out S’mores on 2nd Street, and an ice carver will be creating ice sculptures.
The event kicks off with an opening ceremony at the Veteran’s Tribute with a proclamation from Mayor Chuck Infelt. And Santa will make his annual appearance at his house in Kohlmann Park to hear the wishes from all the good girls and boys.
