Monday on Y99.3 at the State Softball Tournament in Class 1A Clarksville won a thriller over Belle-Plaine 9-8. Clarksville was down 5-0 before they battled back for the victory. The Indians will next play Thursday night at 7:30 in the State Semi-Finals vs. 7-seed Sigourney. Sigourney upset Akron-Westfield 7-3 yesterday.
Also Monday at State Softball, in Class 2A Waterloo Columbus lost 7-2 to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. Columbus next plays Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the Consolation Semi-finals vs. Central Springs.
