Tuesday night on Y99.3 the Clarksville Indian softball team beat 3-seeded Southeast Warren 7-1 to advance to the State Semifinals in Fort Dodge. The 6-seeded Indians will play 2-seed North Linn Wednesday night. Pregame at 7:15 and first pitch at 7:30 on Y99.3. The championship game for Class 1A is Friday night.
In other Class 1A scores: Martensdale-St. Mary’s edged Fort Dodge St. Edmond 1-0, Wayne beat Remsen St. Mary’s 8-2 and North Linn edged Sigourney 1-0.
In Class 2A: Iowa City Regina clipped Northeast 4-3, I 35 beat Lisbon 9-5, Van Meter got by Missouri Valley 6-1 and Central Springs beat West Monona 8-2.
And in Class 3A: Assumpion shutout Saydel 5-0 and Wahlert crushed Benton 10-0.
