Thursday night on Y99.3 in the Class 1A State Softball Tournament it was the Collins-Maxwell Spartans beating the Clarksville Indians 4-3 in an all Iowa Star Conference final. The game was back and forth with both team holding a lead before Collins-Maxwell scored and took the lead in the bottom of the 6th inning and held on to win their second consecutive title. Clarksville picked up their 2nd runner-up finish in three years and ended the season with a 33-2 record.
