In the ’22-’23 season varsity girls and boys basketball at the high school level will feature a 35-second shot clock.
Many have debated the merits of this over the years and especially since the announcement earlier this week. Waverly-Shell Rock girls basketball coach Greg Bodensteiner shared some of his thoughts on the shot clocks future effects on the game.
Teams will not be allowed to experiment with the shot clock in games, including in jamborees and tournaments, this season.
