The #9 Wartburg women’s basketball team took over sole possession of first place in the conference standings in the 85-74 win over Buena Vista Wednesday. The Knights are now 14-1 overall and 6-0 in IIAC play.
Meanwhile, the Wartburg College men’s basketball team fell to Buena Vista 86-79.
The Bradley University Braves posted a 72-61 win over the UNI men Wednesday. UNI is now 5-11 on the year and 0-5 in MVC play.
The Iowa State men won again beating Oklahoma State 73-69 Wednesday night on the road. Monte Morris had 30 points for the Cyclones.
