A series of new rules are expected to come to college football as recommended by the Football Rules Committee. College will adopt a 2 minute warning at the end of each half, the clock will stop on first downs only in the last two minutes of a half at all levels of the NCAA and colleges will be able to use video technology the same way that high schools and the NFL can during the game. All teams will also be afforded the opportunity to use in helmet microphones the same way the NFL does, if they choose to do so.
