Monday night on Y99.3 in boys soccer Waterloo Columbus pounded Northeast Iowa United 11-1 with 7 minutes left. It was the Sailor’s first win of the season. Iggy Hasselbrook had a first half hat trick and Vincent Pragner had a second half hat trick. John Novotney and Solomon Thang each scored two goals and Chris Hasselbrook also scored for the Sailors.
In other soccer Monday night the Denver boys edged Waterloo East 2-1 and the top-ranked Denver girls beat Union 6-1.
