Couple Suing Over Charter Plane Incident

A Wisconsin couple is suing several entities, including the city of Waterloo, after their chartered plane slid off the runway at the Waterloo airport during heavy rains in 2022, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Sharon and Kenneth Kirn of Clark County, Wisconsin were passengers on a flight for patrons of Caesar’s and Harrah’s casinos that was bound from Wisconsin to Laughlin, Arizona. The flight was stopping in Waterloo to pick up more passengers when it slid off the runway during a rain storm. The Kirns are suing iAero Group, Swift Air Travel, New Swift Air Holdings, Caesar’s Resort Collection, Harrah’s Arizona Corporation, and the city of Waterloo. They say they experienced sudden, unexpected, and severe forces upon their bodies causing severe personal injuries. They are seeking damages to cover past and future medical expenses, pain and suffering, and loss of full body and mind.
