On Tuesday, the Bremer County sheriff responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 218 and C33. Thirty one year old William Billington of Clarksville was traveling west on C33 when he failed to yield to northbound traffic. A vehicle driven by 36 year old Ryan Pothast of Nashua collided with Billington. Pothast was transported to the Waverly Health Center with minor injuries. Billington was cited for having no valid drivers license and failure to obey a traffic control device.
