Monday night in the Class 2A State Baseball Tournament 7-seed Denver was taken down by 2-seed Wilton 3-2. The Cyclones led 2-1 until the Beavers scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to take the lead and the win. Wilton advances to play Centerville Thursday afternoon.
In other Class 2A scores Monday: Iowa City Regina beat Treynor 6-1, Van Meter clipped Alta-Aurelia 4-3 and Centerville topped Estherville Lincoln Central 6-3.
