The Denver Cyclone baseball team had their season come to an end at the State Tournament Monday. The Cyclones lost 10-5 to the defending State Champion and 1-seeded Clear Lake Lions. The game was tied 1-1 until the bottom of the 3rd when Clear Lake scored 3 runs and then scored in every inning that followed. Clear Lake was up as much at 10-1 when the Cyclones battled to make it 10-5, but they would not have enough left to finish the comeback.
Denver ends the year with a 20-16 record.
