Thursday night on Y99.3 the Denver girls soccer team overcame a 1-0 deficit to beat Dubuque Wahlert 3-1 and punch their ticket to the State Tournament for the first time since 2017. Keirea Gehrke, Alyssa Harberts and Anna Mulert scored for the Cyclones in the win.
Denver will be the 2-seed in the Class 1A tournament and will play 7-seed St. Albert of Council Bluffs at 10:30 Tuesday morning on Y99.3.
