The Denver girls wrestling team won the Class 1A State Championship on Friday night on KWAY Country. Denver’s Lilli Cooper, Violet Diaz and Abigail Peterson won individual state titles to help the Cyclones win the tournament with 107 points which was 2 more than Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
Erica Irvine of Don Bosco also came home with an individual State crown.
