State Track began Thursday and continues Friday.
On the boys side Wapsie Valley leads Class 1A with 19 points as Aiden Shannon was 2nd in the 3,200 meter run and the 4×800 team took 3rd place, in Class 2A Columbus has 6 points and is in 11th and in Class 4A Cedar Falls tied for 3rd place with 18 points. Waverly-Shell Rock’s Austin Soldwisch finished 10th place in the 3,200 meter run.
On the girls side Waverly-Shell Rock’s Sydney Bochman was 24th place in the 3,000 meter run and Ramey Dahlquist finished 19th in the high jump.
