15 dead cats and dogs were found in a home in Sumner over the weekend according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Sumner Police along with Bremer County deputies and animal rescue workers were sent to 611 E. First Street on Sunday. They also found 13 living animals. They say the home did not have climate control and the animals were living in poor conditions. The owner of the pets has not been identified but police say charges are pending in the case.
