The death of Louis Staudt, Shell Rock’s lone police officer, has left the town without a police force.

Staudt’s visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 on Friday at Kaiser Corson Funeral Home in Shell Rock with the funeral being held at 10:30 on Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Roseville.
