According to a report from Darin Svenson, the Decorah school board is asking the state of Iowa to create a new athletic conference with itself, Charles City, Crestwood, New Hampton, North Fayette-Valley, Osage and Waukon. It appears from our investigating that the other schools have not expressed public interest or knowledge of this plan. A hearing involving all schools involved will be held on April 29th with a deadline for a decision in early May with an appeal process available.
