Wednesday night on KWAY Country the Northeast Iowa Conference champion Decorah baseball team swept Waverly-Shell Rock. The Go-Hawks fell 6-4 in Game 1 despite having the tying run on the bases in the 7th.
In Game 2 Decorah won 9-8 as the Go-Hawks gave up 17 free bases to the Vikings. Jack Elsamiller had his 2nd career home run in the loss.
