The words “Shots Fired” were replaced by “Play Ball” Thursday in Washington D.C. Thursday night a record crowd of 24,959 watched the charity Congregational Baseball Game as team Donkey beat team Elephant 11-2. The Democratic team gave the trophy back to the Republican team to put in the injured Representative Steve Scalise’s office as he is recovering from being shot by a gunman on Wednesday.
