Monday night on Y99.3 Denver swept a basketball doubleheader with Columbus. In the girls game the 4th ranked Denver Cyclones rolled Columbus 59-10 as Channing Johnson scored 20 points.
In the boys game the Cyclones nipped the Sailors 92-91 in double overtime. Amani Robinson of Columbus and Jackson Joerger of Denver both scored 30 points in the high scoring thriller. In the game Amani Robinson eclipsed the 1,000 career point milestone.
In other basketball Monday night the Dunkerton boys beat Tripoli 75-42 and the Dunkerton girls slayed Tripoli 71-10.
