Tuesday night on Y99.3 the Denver Cyclone baseball team upset Jesup 3-2 to go to State. With the win the Cyclones got to .500 on the season as well. Denver will play on Tuesday in Carroll in the Class 2A State Tournament and Y99.3 will have the coverage.
Van Meter, Camanche, Unity Christian, Clarinda, Centerville, Davis County and New Hampton will join Denver at State in Class 2A. Van Meter was the only ranked team to qualify.
