The Wartburg wrestling teams had a good showing at the 23rd annual Desert Duals in Las Vegas. The top-ranked men remained undefeated by beating Manchester, Vanguard and Melo, California by a combined 110-23. The 16th ranked Wartburg women went 2-1 as they beat 8th ranked Simon Fraser 24-22, topped 5th ranked Colorado Mesa 26-17 and fell to 3rd ranked Grand Valley State 38-7.
Wednesday night in men’s basketball at the annual Buzz Levick Tournament the Wartburg men defeated Bethany Lutheran 84-63.
