Tuesday in the rain at the Dick Pollite Invite the Waverly-Shell Rock boys finished 4th behind Marion, Denver and Mason City in ascending order in the 16 team event. Matthew Hommowun was 10th and Alex Chapman finished 11th for the Go-Hawk cross-country team. On the girls side Waverly-Shell Rock finished 9th out of 14 teams. Crestwood won with Denver is 2nd. Allison Kay was the top finishing Go-Hawk in 25th place.
