Monday night on KWAY Country the Sumner-Fredericksburg boys hammered Union 72-28 to advance. Peyton Schmitz scored 24, Kody VanEngelenburg scored 20 and Klay Seehase added 17 points in the win. The Cougars advance to play Denver Thursday.
Monday night on Y99.3 the Dunkerton boys beat Don Bosco 69-36 as Preston Gillespie scored 16 points. The Raiders advance to play Maquoketa Valley on Thursday.
Monday night in other district boys action Wapsie Valley slammed Central 62-13 and North Butler surprised Nashua-Plainfield 67-32.
