The “Voice of the Hawkeyes” will be reinstated. Play-by-play man Gary Dolphin was suspended for the remainder of the Iowa men’s basketball season following remarks referring to a young black man as King Kong during the Maryland vs. Iowa postgame show. Dolphin will return to the mic for the Iowa football season and the next men’s basketball season.
