Wednesday on Y99.3 in Class 1A the North Linn Lynx beat the Don Bosco Dons 74-51 to advance to the 1A Title Game. This was the first game this year that North Linn did not have the 35-point-rule clock running.
The Dons battled hard but find themselves playing Thursday morning in the Consolation Game. Don Bosco will play Remsen St. Mary’s at 10:30 on Y99.3.
Other semi-final games took placeWednesday. In class 1A Grand View Christian edged Remsen St. Mary’s 59-53; in Class 2A: Trynor beat Aplington-Parkersburg 75-66 and Cascade topped Sheldon 65-43; in Class 4A Cedar Falls crushed Sioux City East 75-47 and Valley West Des Moines beat North Scott 52-44.
