An Illinois man has been convicted of supplying methamphetamine and cocaine to the Waterloo and Davenport areas, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 37 year old Antonio Evans, of Stone Park, Illinois was arrested in April after selling four pounds of meth and four ounces of cocaine. Officers found a hidden compartment in his vehicle’s dash that contained a 9mm pistol, more than 26 grams of crack cocaine and more than 12 ounces of fentanyl. Law enforcement says Evans has been supplying the drugs to the Iowa communities since the summer of 2021. When he is sentenced he faces 15 years to life in a federal prison and a fine up to $44.5 million.
