Never winners no more. Sunday night the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 in an offensive shootout at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis.
Super Bowl MVP quarterback Nick Foles threw for 373 yards and 3 touchdowns while receiving another TD. Foles found Zach Ertz on a 5 yard scoring pass with 2:21 to go to give the Eagles the lead. The Eagles later forced a fumble on Tom Brady and hit a field goal to go up by 8. The Patriots fired back and had a Hail Mary pass to Gronkowski just end up incomplete as the clock hit zeros.
This is Philadelphia’s first ever Super Bowl win.
