Thursday in cross country at the Charles City Early Bird Invitation the Waverly-Shell Rock boys won the event with Eamon McCullough getting the individual title. Charles City finished second, followed by Denver and then Dike-New Hartford. On the girls side Charles City won, followed by Denver and then Waverly-Shell Rock with Dike-New Hartford in 4th.
