Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock soccer teams got a sweep.
In the girls game the 2nd ranked Go-Hawks edged the 3rd ranked Xavier Saints 1-0. Anaka Ott scored the game winner with 9:15 left in the game. The Go-Hawk girls have won 8 in a row over Xavier.
In the boys game Brock Kuhse scored both goals as Waverly-Shell Rock beat Mason City 2-1. It is the first win of the season for the Go-Hawks who are now 1-2.
