Monday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock boys shutout Postville 4-0 on the road. Gavin Bockholt scored two goals and both Brock Kuhse and Jayden Butler added a goal. W-SR is now 4-6-2 on the season.
Monday in girls golf Waverly-Shell Rock beat Decorah 197-229. In boys golf the Go-Hawks won the Washington Invitation with a 308 in the 18-hole event. Luke Frazell was the individual winner as he shot a 71.
Monday in high school track the Waverly-Shell Rock girls won the Independence Invite. In boys track the 4×200 team of Nolan Foster, Sam Wilson, Jayden Stephens and Rylan Peters broke a school record with 1:28.6.
Monday in boys tennis Waverly-Shell Rock fell to Decorah 6-3. Waverly-Shell Rock girls beat Osage 9-0.
