UNI Director of Athletics David Harris announced a five-year contract extension for veteran head football coach Mark Farley which will keep Farley at the helm of Panther football through the 2026 season. Farley is the the winningest coach in UNI and Missouri Valley Football Conference history, he also is the FCS leader in career playoff wins. Under Farley the Panthers have won 7 conference titles and have gone to the playoffs 12 times.
