Monday night the Iowa Hawkeye women got revenge and got to cut down the nets as they defeated LSU, in a rematch of last year’s title game that the Tigers won, 94-87. Caitlin Clark had 41 points and 12 assists as Iowa is now in the Final Four for the second year in a row. Clark is the only man or woman to ever have more than 40 points and 10 assists in a tournament game and she has done it twice.
Also Monday night UConn topped USC 80-73.
So, the women’s Final Four is set. On Friday North Carolina State will play South Carolina and at 8:00 on Y99.3 Iowa will face UConn.
