The City of Waverly Water Department will be conducting routine hydrant flushing beginning Monday, June 2nd. This process will take two to three weeks to complete. During this time, citizens may experience water discoloration or pressure drop. In that event the water department recommends letting the faucet run for a few minutes until the water becomes clear again. They say this is a normal and expected occurrence.
