This coming Monday ,Aug 6th the Waverly Volunteer Firefighters Association will give an update during the city council meeting on the upcoming 2018 Firefighter Association Convention.
According to Convention Chairman Lt. Rob Edgar the location for the event still needs to be finalized, but will otherwise stay unchanged from the 2016 convention:
The convention is set for Saturday September 1st and is expected to bring in between 2000 and 2200 visitors from across the state.
