Thursday night in the NCAA Tournament the First Four games were played. Texas Southern beat Mt. St. Mary’s 60-52 to earn the 16-seed, Drake survived Wichita State 53-52 to earn an 11-seed and get their first tournament win in 50 years, Norfolk State edged Appalachian State 54-53 to get a 16-seed and UCLA clipped Michigan State 86-80 in overtime to get the 11-seed.
The first round of the NCAA Tournament is Friday and Saturday. 2-seed Iowa will play 15-seed Grand Canyon University Saturday on Y99.3. Pregame at 4:30, tip at 5:25.
