The Waverly Public Library has issued a challenge to Waverly City Hall to a fight for food, and they need your help. They will be seeing who can collect the most food to be donated to the to aid the hunger insecure of Waverly in the Enough for Everyone (E4E) initiative.
Canned and nonperishable food can be dropped off at marked receptacles will be present at both facilities, which will then be weighed and donated to the Waverly Food Pantry.
When asked about her odds of winning, Library Director Sarah Meyer-Reyerson had this to say:
Both competitors have until Monday, March 19th to collect the most food and be crowned the GREATEST FOOD FIGHTER OF ALL TIME. Regardless of who comes out on top, the real winners are the citizens of Waverly.
