Hy-Vee stores have issued a recall.
The recall is for frozen store-brand vegetable fried rice and chicken fried rice products.
The concern is listeria contamination, and the recall includes bags with use-by dates of November 5, 2017, or earlier.
The products were sold at Hy-Vee stores in eight states, including Iowa and Illinois between July 24, 2014, and May 12, 2016.
Customers who bought the recalled product should throw it out, or return it to their local Hy-Vee store for a full refund.
