The Wartburg football team won the American Rivers Conference for the 4th season in a row and to the victor goes the spoils. The Knight dominated the A-R-C All-Conference Teams. Wartburg’s linebacker Keenan Tyler was named the Defensive MVP, freshman tight end Sam Heither was named the Rookie of the Year and Chris Winter was named the Coach of the Year for the 4th year in a row.
Knights on 1st Team defense were: Conner Grover, Conner McDonald, Keenan Tyler, Jake Walker and Mac Watts. On 1st team offense was: Sam Heither, Cole Hotz and Dawson Rud. Jaxson Hoppes and Dylan Swanstrom were named 1st Team Specialists.
On 2nd team defense was: Jack Drahos and Jason O’Boye. On 2nd team offense was: Leo Dodd, Cole Mahnke, Braden Plotz and Dylan Swanstrom.
Matt Dufoe, Tyler Gayer, Drew Streb and Austin Souhrada were named Honorable Mention All Conference.
