Wartburg College senior linebacker Keenan Tyler has been named a First Team Defensive All-American by the American Football Coaches’ Association. Tyler was named the 2025 American Rivers Conference Defensive Most Valuable Player, becoming the fourth consecutive Wartburg player to earn the league’s top defensive honor—setting both a program and conference record.
D3football.com has named its All-Region Teams and the Knights are well represented. Waverly native and offensive lineman Cole Hotz, defensive lineman Conner McDonald, linebacker Keenan Tyler and corner back Conner Grover made 1st Team. Waverly native and defensive lineman Jake Walker and running back Dawson Rud are on 2nd Team. Finally, tight end Sam Heither and wide receiver Dylan Swanstrom are on 3rd Team All-Region.
