Former Waterloo City Councilwoman Sharon Juon has died, according to KWWL. Juon served as an at-large Councilperson from 2017-2021. She did not seek another term due to health reasons. Prior to serving on the City Council, she was the Executive Director of the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments or INRCOG for 25 years and was on the Waterloo Downtown Council and the Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.
