A Frederika man was killed after a single vehicle accident near Sumner on Saturday morning. The Iowa State Patrol says 76 year old Eugene Lampe was thrown from the SUV he was driving around 9:00 Saturday morning. Lampe was headed westbound when on Highway 93 near Usher Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and rolled several times, eventually coming to a stop on its top. The Bremer County Medical Examiner pronounced Lampe dead at the scene.
