Waterloo Fire Rescue was called to the 1400 block of Franklin Street Sunday night after a detached garage caught on fire. When crews arrived on scene flames were shooting through the roof. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby houses and cars. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still being investigated but they do not believe foul play is involved.
