The Iowa Girls Coaches Association has announced its annual awards. Waverly-Shell Rock’s Dave Arns was named the Assistant Basketball Coach of the Year.
The organization also announced its All-Region Teams. In Class 4A Waverly-Shell Rock’s Greg Bodensteiner was named District Coach of the Year while players Brenna Bodensteiner and Katelyn Eggena were named to the All-Region Team.
In Class 2A Isabelle Elliott of Sumner-Fredericksburg and Columbus’s Morgan Bradley were named All-Region.
In Class 1A Clarksville’s Paige Kampman was honored.
