Thursday night on KWAY Country the top ranked Waverly-Shell Rock girls beat 4th ranked Denver 11-2. Waverly-Shell Rock got a double hat trick from Kenzie Roling before she left with cramps, 4 goals from Anna Stromberg and a goal from Annika Behrends. Denver’s goals both came from Jordyn Foelske in the first half.
Thursday night the Waverly-Shell Rock boys blasted Gladbrook-Reinbeck 9-1. Jeremie Podrier scored 4 goals, while Payton Kipp, Simon Ott, Ty Bell, Jordan Bienemann and Kyle Quibell added a goal a piece.
In other boys soccer Cedar Falls edged Linn-Mar 3-2 and Cedar Rapids Jefferson blanked Waterloo East 9-0.
