Tuesday night on KWAY Country the 5th ranked Waverly-Shell Rock girls fell to 6th ranked Center Point-Urbana. The Go-Hawks were down 21-11 at halftime before tying it 23-23 in the 3rd quarter and briefly taking the lead, but in the end the Stormin’ Pointers held off the Go-Hawks 40-34. CP-U is now 9-1 and the Go-Hawks are 8-2.
Tuesday night the Waverly-Shell Rock boys beat Mason City 59-45 to improve to 7-2 overall.
