The Girls State Basketball Tournament continued Tuesday. In Class 2A action Cascade edged Central Decatur 59-56. In Class 3A play: Sioux Center slammed PCM 71-27, Cherokee topped Crestwood 70-61, Center Point-Urbana beat Davenport Assumption 56-50 and Pocahontas Area hammered Clear Lake 46-22. In Class 4A action North Scott got by Nevada 57-27 and Cedar Rapids Xavier beat Grinnell 60-55.
Class 4A and 5A first round completes Wednesday with Semi-Final play beginning Thursday.
