The Girls State Basketball Tournament continued Wednesday in Des Moines.
Scores in Class 4A: Marion beat Boone 46-38 and Pella nipped Lewis Central 47-43.
In Class 5A: Kiana Barney converted a three-point play with seven seconds left to give Cedar Falls a 48-46 victory over Iowa City High and send the Tigers into the Class 5A semifinals.
Other scores in Class 5A were: Indianola topped Johnston 77-67, West Des Moines Valley beat Dowling Catholic 87-64 and Iowa City West edged Waukee 40-38.
Semi-Final action at the State Tournament begins Thursday.
