Listen to high school soccer Tuesday night on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3 as Waverly-Shell Rock hosts Denver for a doubleheader. At 5:00 the boys will lock horns and then at 6:45 the Go-Hawk and Cyclone girls will play on KWAY Country.
Also in action Tuesday for the Go-Hawks at 4:00 the girls golf team tees off at home and the boys tennis team hosts Union.
Monday at a boys track and field meet hosted by Mason City, Cedar Falls won with 139 points, followed by Waterloo West with 120 and Waverly-Shell Rock in 3rd with 103 points in the 7 team meet. Waverly-Shell Rock won the Distance Medley and Go-Hawk Mason Spree won the shot put.
Monday in girls track and field at an 8 team meet hosted by Marshalltown, Waukee won with 137 points, followed by Ankeny with 126, then West Des Moines Valley with 106 and Waverly-Shell Rock in fourth with 94. The Go-Hawks had relay champions in the 4×400, 4×800 and the Shuttle Hurdle Relay.
